USING THE BEST TECHNOLOGIES
Virtual Design & Construction
At Zwick Construction, we strive to stay at the forefront of the industry by using the best technologies. This helps us provide the highest quality and most efficient projects to owners. Employees are trained frequently on the use of these technologies, and those technologies are applied to our projects.
INCREASED
EFFICIENCY
BIM substantially reduces the amount of rework required on a project, by identifying potential issues before the building is even constructed.
FASTER
COMPLETION
BIM has completely revolutionized the construction industry by shaving 10-40% from traditional completion schedules. The process almost certainly will save significant time.
INCREASED
SAVINGS
BIM can identify problems before they can adversely affect project budget or schedule, such as collision detection to ensure that no piping will intersect structural elements of the building.
INCREASED
COLLABORATION
BIM technology allows owners, architects, and Zwick to communicate visually, eliminating design surprise. It increases communication by visually establishing scope and requirements.
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
For certain projects, we utilize Building Information Modeling, programs that produce and manage construction and design information. We combine this powerful visualization technology with industry-leading talent. BIM technologies help identify issues before anything is built.
Drone Technologies
On many of our construction sites, we use drones to collect valuable data and identify potential issues early into construction. They give our project teams the ability to do QA/QC for their jobsite on an overall, large scale while allowing them to effectively document and mitigate risk early on. Through drone technologies, our teams have been able to run vertical façade flights, topography take-offs, cut and fill analyses, and 360 walkthroughs that integrate with construction software, in addition to typical flights.
Construction Software
Effectively utilizing construction software leads to successful projects and open communication.
Zwick employs professional software such as PROCORE, P6 Schedule, and Bluebeam PDF editor to assist us in the process.
