Down in sunny southern California, the Yorba Linda Temple is taking shape, and teams are making great progress. While that progress is largely due to the efforts of many talented trade partners, the superintendent at the temple gives special recognition to the structural steel subcontractor, KCB Towers.
“I could say so many great things about KCB Towers. They always did what they said they would do," the superintendent explained. "When there were RFIs, they gave us a date when to expect steel pieces, and they always met those dates. They were responsive and collaborated well. The best of all in my opinion, they did not have any ego; they were very humble and very easy to manage.”
KCB Towers was founded in the 1970s, originally working on communication towers. Eventually, they moved to structural steel. A family-owned and -operated company, KCB Towers has about 45 employees and work in many western states. All of their services are performed in-house, including fabrication and design.
On a complex project like the Yorba Linda Temple, KCB Towers' expertise is much-needed. As he said, “They submitted their shop drawings when the schedule required it and responded in a timely manner. They also planned the job very well, ensuring that the fabrication of the structural steel was done 100% months before we needed the material on site. They were always looking ahead to prevent delays and issues.”
Echoing his words, we recognize KCB Towers’ major contribution to the Yorba Linda California Temple—thank you, KCB Towers!
