This airport-specific fire station was built to service the needs of the Utah Air National Guard at the Salt Lake City International Airport. Services provided from this facility include explosive ordinance disposal and a mobility processing center for the Guard.
It features four bays for airport-specific apparatus, living quarters, a large kitchen, and workout facility. The exterior xeriscape reduces the amount of water required for irrigation. The building is constructed of concrete, masonry, and steel. Exterior finishes include metal panel and honed block.
